Designing and creating handmade clothing is my passion. As a child, I loved putting a pencil to paper and creating; whether it be a line of embroidery or a whole garment. This love of creating garments helped me through CITI where I studied Pattern Making, drafting and designing.

With over 20 years of experience in designing and stitching, I give my utmost attention to detail and the quality to the garment.Having the confidence to take up any challenge, I registered the business in year 2014 as Fute Dressmaking in Colombo.In the beginning I created outfits for my family and friends thus gaining experience in the field of fashion.  Overtime I carefully observed the trends in market; piecing together styles and textures from moments in time, I have put together unique and timeless garments, marking my art of dressmaking very special as I make pieces that suit the individual and not forcing the individual to suit the piece.

Our clientele includes celebrities, professionals and people with passion for style. Our expertise ranges in Batik wear in both silk and cotton, saree jackets, wedding and party wear, concert costumes and mini bulk orders for startup on line business.
